New Leadership to Deliver Results for Our Community
Father, husband & Royal Oak homeowner
Graduate of Michigan State University
Expertise in sustainability and green technologies
Small business owner
Member, Royal Oak Library Board
Brandon, his wife Carly, and son Henry love calling Royal Oak home. Before starting a family, Brandon and Carly knew that Royal Oak would be the best place to raise their future children. As your city commissioner, Brandon will make sure that Royal Oak remains a community that we are all proud to raise children in and call home.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Brandon has worked in facility services focusing on environmental sustainability and green technologies. Brandon became a small business owner when he purchased the Up North ice cream store in his childhood vacation town.
Brandon's civic engagement in Royal Oak started with his appointment to the Library Board. Brandon quickly became part of the Budget Committee tasked with overseeing the almost 2 million dollar budget of the library, and the Strategic Planning Committee to ensure our library has a clear vision for it's future. Recently, Brandon was part of the success in opening the Library on Sundays for the first time in history.
It's no surprise that Royal Oak constantly makes the list of Best Cities to live in, and the future only looks better. Our downtown is set to undergo major redevelopment with addition of new hotels and civic centers, our schools will be under new leadership next fall, and we have a once in a life time opportunity to develop 40 acres of park land at the former Normandy Oaks golf course. Brandon understands the need for strong leadership to see these projects to completion and ensure the values we hold as a community stand true.
