I address the Royal Oak School Board after hearing the heart breaking story of students chanting "Build The Wall" directed at a Latino student. I make it clear that the need for change is real, and can not just be well intentions. I am happy to see the retirement of superintendent Lewis-Larkin, and look forward to be part of the process to select a new leader

When a developer bought 15 single family lots and proposed a 3 story, 76 unit "New York or Miami" style complex, my neighborhood organized to object to the deterioration of our neighborhood.
Working together with the Mayor,we were able to negotiate the planting of a tree fence, paving way for the new development and keeping our neighborhood family friendly.
